Basic information on data processing and legal basis
The following statement provides you with an overview of how LZF guarantees the protection of your data and what type of data is processed within LZF, for what purpose and to what extent. We would also like to inform you about your rights as a data subject.
In the case of online offers, the privacy policy applies regardless of the domains, systems, platforms and devices (such as desktop or mobile) on which the offer is executed.
We use terms such as ‘personal data’ or their ‘processing’ in accordance with the definitions in Artikel 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In addition to the General Data Protection Regulation, the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the State Data Protection Act (LDSG), in particular Paragraf 4 LDSG, form the legal basis.
We reserve the right to amend the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to changed legal situations or in the event of changes to the service or data processing. Changes to this privacy policy may also become necessary in the course of the further development of our website and the technologies used. We therefore recommend that you visit this page regularly if you wish to keep up to date. If your consent is required or components of the privacy policy contain provisions of the contractual relationship with you, the changes will only be made with your consent.
Data processing on this website
LZF processes data within the scope of this online service
- so that you can access the pages,
- when using the contact form and
- for statistical analysis.
The personal data processed as part of this online service includes inventory data (e.g. email addresses for contact enquiries), usage data (e.g. the pages of our online service visited) and content data, such as entries in the contact form.
We collect this data on the basis of Artikel 6 Absatz 1 Buchstabe e GDPR in conjunction with Paragraf 4 LDSG, in order to be able to provide you with this online service to fulfil our tasks in the public interest (LZF's public relations work).
We only process personal data in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations. This means that we only process your data if we are legally authorised to do so, in particular if the data processing is necessary for the provision of our services or is required or permitted by law or if the user has given their consent.
Every time you visit a website, data is collected and exchanged between your browser and our server. LZF automatically collects and stores data (log file information) that your browser transmits to our server. These are:
- Type and version of your Internet browser
- the operating system used
- the page accessed
- the previously visited page (referrer URL)
- the date and time of the server enquiry.
LZF analyses the above-mentioned data solely for statistical purposes in order to measure the demand for its web offers. LZF has no way of assigning this data to a specific person. This data is not merged with other data sources.
The IP addresses are recorded when you visit the website and stored in anonymised form for seven days. We collect this data on the basis of Artikel 6 Absatz 1 Buchstabe e GDPR in conjunction with Paragraf 4 LDSG, in order to be able to provide you with this online service to fulfil our tasks in the public interest (LZF's public relations work).
Data logged when accessing the website will only be transmitted to third parties if we are obliged to do so by law or by court order or if disclosure is necessary for legal or criminal prosecution in the event of attacks on LZF's Internet infrastructure. Data will not be passed on in other cases.
Voluntary personal data
At some points on the website, you have the option of voluntarily providing personal data, for example in the contact form. We store and use the (personal) data provided to us exclusively for the purpose for which it was provided. It will not be passed on to third parties unless this is expressly stated.
Instead of electronic contact options such as e-mail or the contact form, you can use other ways of contacting us. In this respect, the voluntary nature of the provision of personal data is maintained at all times. You will not suffer any disadvantages if you do not provide your data. You may then have to resort to other ways of obtaining information
Webtracking
This online service uses Matomo, an open source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access, in order to customise and continuously improve the website. We use Matomo on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offering within the meaning of Artikel 6 Absatz 1 Buchstabe e GDRP). The information about your use of this website is stored on the web servers of LZF in Germany and is not passed on to third parties. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before it is stored.
Security measures
We take organisational, contractual - for example with hosting service providers - and technical security measures in accordance with the state of the art to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and to protect the data processed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. The security measures include, in particular, the encrypted transmission of data between your browser and our server.
Rights of data subjects
1. Right of information
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data stored about you at any time, informally and without giving reasons. This also applies to their origin and recipients as well as the purpose of storage. You will receive this information free of charge (Artikel 15 DSGVO). Information about the stored data can be obtained from the LZF Internet editorial office: beratung[at]lzf.bwl.de
2. Right of correction, right of cancellation and other rights
You also have the right to rectification of incorrect data, restriction of processing and erasure of your personal data (Artikel 16 DSGVO, Artikel 17 DSGVO, Artikel 18 DSGVO). In the event of the assumption of unlawful data processing, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for us, Landesbeauftragten für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg. If you have given us your consent, you can revoke it with effect for the future (Artikel 7 DSGVO).
3. Right to object
If we process your personal data not on the basis of consent, but on the basis of a legal basis such as Article 6(1)(e) GDPR, you can object to the future processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation (Artikel 21 DSGVO).
4. Deletion of data
The data stored by us will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations. If the user's data is not deleted because it is required for other and legally permissible purposes, its processing will be restricted. This means that the data is blocked and not processed for other purposes.
Supervisory authority and complaints procedure
You can contact us at any time with your concerns regarding your personal data processed by us. However, you are also free to contact the state data protection officer with complaints:
